Here are some activities you can do if you are at home sick. (Remember to bring it back to school so Mrs Tran can mark it.)
➢ Day 1
1. Write a letter to a friend. 2. Find something you can make on the internet. Follow the instructions and make it. (It may be something you make or bake.) 3. Read a poem out loud – leave it on Mrs Tran’s answering machine.
➢ Day 2
1. Write a list of numbered instructions for a young child (5 years old) to follow so they can make the same thing as what you made yesterday. 2. Research a topic that interests you – it may be a person, animal, place or activity. Make a brainstorm about your topic. 3. Ring a friend and speak in English for 10 minutes.
➢ Day 3
1. Continue researching the topic that interests you. Write down some interesting facts about your topic. 2. Email these interesting facts to Mrs Tran along with a short note letting her know how you’re going. 3. Read a picture book out loud to a family member.
